Description:
Monitor and respond to Renaissance incoming contacts and command post systems' alerts to assure the safety and security of residents, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accept, monitor and resolve resident and staff contacts and concerns assuring safe and secure resolution.
Monitor bed, bath, and restroom call system for Health Center and Assisted Living; radio nurse in charge.
Respond immediately to resident medical emergencies, fire alarms, and DNR's.
Assist with fire and tornado drills; test alarms.
Accept and maintain call-off log for entire campus.
Make wake-up calls for residents.
Contact and request snow plowing based on regulatory compliance.
Monitor system alerts and take immediate and required action; call 911 and expedite as appropriate.
Qualifications:
In-depth interpersonal skills:
demonstrated trust, integrity, compassion and ability to effectively deal with all types of people.
Ability to work with disabled, elderly and emotionally distraught people and their families.
Ability to multitask.
